The Spring Sea, or the Voice of the
Voice
1
the spring sea is brimming with light
(light has folds
(into the folds, luminous voices have seeped
(in a dream, voices are merrily sounding—
from somewhere around a spring cabbage
in the kitchen—
lost voices
are making the tranquil spring sea—
fading, fading
the lost voices,
lost into the sea,
bearing lost memories
all day long
gently swelling
gently swelling
2
emerald-green waves
break against the crag of time,
and an opalescent sea is born
words cannot catch up
(that which precedes knowledge
and lies beyond knowledge—the sea
in an instant, the world becomes a memory
(the past lives these voices—
(now
(the waves break against the crag
(the beauty of all that passes
3
death is living a tranquil time
between the horizon and the blue sky
light is faintly stirring
(in the spring sea
time is brimming
(the greater the pain,
the deeper the spring—the cape
in the sea wind on the ridge
wind turbines are turning
seventeen wind turbines
are quietly turning
death is turning
※Romie's comments: oh you great poet! i am feeling faint for reading your poem…such a fluidity, how can one render such liquidness! its just pure a wonder!
